A one acre lake fed by a mountain stream and springs offer 14 double oak platforms and 150 meters of embankment set in a beautiful countryside. Depths span from 5ft. at the margins to 9ft. in the centre. The lake is well stocked with carp, tench, bream, roach and rudd from ounces to double figure pounds making it ideal for a relaxing day's fishing or more serious competitions. No need for expensive baits, maggots will draw an abundance of silver, while carp, tench and bream have an appetite for luncheon meat, castors, worms, sweetcorn and bread. The office can supply you with bait, essential tackle and hire of, and a menu of cooked meals and light refreshments from the kitchen. The car park and all facilities are disabled friendly and situated right beside the lake. Future developments include a children's \ stock pool and a Winter \ Match lake. |
